SWAN TRUST                      OLD AGE HOME AND CARE FOR THE SENIOR CITIZENS.

   Society for weak and needy is a social service organization is found in Tirunelveli District by Ms.Helen, SWAN is a Registered organization under Indian Trust Act.  1882 and under Foreign Contribution Regulation Act 1976. At the beginning stage the trust worked for women and child Development and Rural Development while working she who are suffering old people and poor people in the district without care, food, dress etc.

   The Holder of SWAN Ms. Helen was in religious older for about 5 years since she wanted to save among SWAN during the year 1987 with the active support of local well-wishers.  As soon as she founded SWAN many deserted old men and women approached her food and shelter.

   In SWAN there are 50 people males 15 & Females 35.  Among them are 10 mentally retarded people.  We are maintaining the inmates in rented building. It will be better if we get own building through Public Donations.

   SWAN’s other programmes are Tuition centre for school going children, Adult Education for illitary people. Employment Development Villages working children’s School, Awareness Programme, women’s rights, Children sights Dalit rights, Environment Programmes.
